Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses sound waves to produce images of the body’s organs or soft tissues. Since no radiation is involved, it is a safe procedure for pregnant women.

CMIC is equipped with state of the art technology to produce both standard and 3D ultrasound images. This capability allows us to provide our patients and local medical affiliates with the most cutting edge and highest quality images available today.

During fetal scans, the technologist measures and records the size of the head, femur and abdomen, helping to determine gestational age, size and growth in the fetus. Movements like fetal heart rate are also recorded during a fetal exam.

While ultrasound has played a key role in pre-natal care and obstetrics, it also has a valuable application in the diagnosis of carotid artery and vascular disease, and in developing gall bladder, breast and gynecological profiles.

MRI is used to view internal structures using combinations of
radio waves and magnetic fields. This procedure is safe and
does not use radiation.
X-ray is a form of electromagnetic radiation used to produce
images of bones and internal organs.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency waves and a computer
to view images of blood vessels, tissues, and organs,
as well as to observe fetal development.
Mammography is a screening and diagnostic
technique that uses low-dose X-rays to
find abnormalities in the breast.
Our NEW Dynacad technology aids radiologists in the detection
of breast lesions, and determines if these lesions are benign
or suspicious and would warrant biopsy.
